Equal parts utility and style, the modern field jacket has really come into its own in recent years, as evidenced by our Heath jacket. Cut in a tactile wool twill (noted by its diagonal ridges), this navy version is warm, soft and full of subtle design details, such as the bold four-pocket front (two flap pockets on the chest, two lower bucket pockets with side-entry hand pockets), D-ring waist adjusters, a storm guard and a covered placket. Made in London and cut to a generous, hip-length body with a point collar and a buttoned tab at each cuff, it's a layer for the whole of winter: throw it over warm knits and textural trousers for a modern take on a classic jacket.

- Chest and waist are measured straight across and doubled.
- Sleeve length runs from the shoulder seam to the cuff.
